2026 Annual Car Show
Annual Fall Show Shines at Fox Run Shopping Center
The First State Mustang and Ford Club’s Annual Fall Show at Fox Run Shopping Center location was another success. Despite the cool morning, volunteers arrived well before the first show cars to set up tents, organize parking, post signs, and prepare for the show cars to arrive. The early chill gave way to comfortable fall weather.
Despite the cool morning, registration of show participants was steady. Leading to a steady procession of Mustangs and Ford-powered vehicles. Owners arrived eager to share their stories and showcase their cars, bringing excitement to the event. There was a total of 75 cars registered for our event.
The cool morning finally gave way to comfortable fall weather, making it an ideal day for judges to take their time examining paint quality, interiors, engine bays, and overall presentation. Show participants were willing to share the stories behind their cars, and the judges appreciated the enthusiasm and pride that came with every car or truck.
Specialty awards such as Ladies’ Choice, Most Unique, Best Mustang, Best Ford, and Dealer’s Choice added interest to the day, giving recognition to standout vehicles. There were 25 People’s Choice awards along with 12 judged awards presented.
One of the most meaningful parts of the Annual Fall Show is the opportunity to support our club’s charitable mission, and this year’s event continued that tradition. Thanks to the generosity of our participants, spectators, and volunteers, the First State Mustang and Ford Club was able to raise funds for Sean’s House and collected food for the Delaware Food Bank. This brought awareness to two great local charities.
No show succeeds without the commitment of its volunteers, and this year’s Fall Show was a perfect example of what a committed team can accomplish. From the moment the first cones were placed on the lot to the final trophy handed out, our volunteers were the driving force behind a smooth, well‑organized, and welcoming event. We truly appreciated all their hard work.
