Christmas in July Car Show with
The First State Mustang and Ford Club

On Saturday July 25th, 2026, the makeup date for the Christmas in July Car Show hosted by the Soul Riders of Delaware. Mother Nature hadn’t cooperated the previous weekend, but this time the skies were clear, the sun was bright, and the Mustangs were ready.

The First State Mustang and Ford club members met at Wawa in Middletown off Route 299, the club’s trusted meeting spot. Between 11:45 and 12:15, members rolled in with their pride and joy, one after another, until a total of 12 Mustangs filled the lot. The arrival window quickly became a mini show of its own, with exhaust noise, paint gleaming, and plenty of smiles as everyone greeted one another and prepared for the cruise.

Once all members arrived, the convoy lined up and headed out, forming a striking procession of Mustangs cruising toward the Soul Riders’ event. The sight of twelve Mustangs traveling together always turns heads and today was no exception.

At the show field, festive music, and a cheerful atmosphere that blended perfectly with the summer weather. The Soul Riders were kind enough to find a spot on the show field so all our cars would be in one area. The First State Mustang and Ford Club set up their section with members bringing tents allowing us to string them together. Spectators wandered over to admire the variety of Mustangs, ask questions, and share stories. The camaraderie among club members was unmistakable, and it made the display even more inviting.

Later in the afternoon, several club members earned awards, making it a proud moment for the First State Mustang and Ford Club. With 15 cars at the show, the club was well represented, but the best part was the shared experience: the cruise, the conversations, the laughter, and the joy of being there together.  At the end of the show, it was great to see all the toys donated by the field participants.
