Carisle 2026
Several members of the First State Mustang and Ford Club met up on Thursday and Friday morning, to begin their journey to the Ford Nationals. It was a routine the group knows well, the conversations, the sound of each of the cars, as members lined up for the trip. Carlisle weekend had arrived again, and with it came the steady excitement of another year at the Ford Nationals.
Members checked their routes and made sure everyone was accounted for before they rolled out. Traffic was good, the weather clear, and the drive felt familiar. For the First State Mustang and Ford Club, it marked the start of another great year at the Ford Nationals, a tradition built on camaraderie, pride, and the shared love of the Blue Oval.
Once inside the show field, the First State Mustang and Ford Club members split briefly to navigate to their assigned parking. The show field already had tents up along with a fair number of cars on the field. Members of the club meet by the club tent to see where we would spend our time at the Ford Nationals.
Saturday at the Ford Nationals is the busiest day. The show field was packed by mid‑morning. The First State Mustang and Ford Club had more than twenty members in attendance across multiple classes.
The highlight of the club was the annual barbecue, which was once again fantastic. It gave everyone a chance to sit down, share a meal, and enjoy the camaraderie that has become a tradition of the club.
After a full day at the show, members headed back to the hotel to make dinner plans together. As the evening went on, many stayed to unwind, catch up, and enjoy each other’s company.
Once again, several members of the First State Mustang and Ford Club earned awards, and their names are listed below. After another memorable Ford Nationals weekend, the club is already looking ahead to next year.
