2026 FSMFC Spring show
The First State Mustang & Ford Club kicked off the season with a fantastic turnout for our Spring Car Show. Our first event was held at the Fox Run Shopping Center in Bear, Delaware. Even with steady spring winds sweeping across the lot, the excitement never faded.
Mother Nature brought some serious breeze to the show. Strong enough, that one tent nearly took off for Oz. Thanks to quick hands, teamwork, and plenty of laughs, it was pulled back down safely, and the show rolled on without missing a beat. The wind kept everyone on their toes, but it didn’t dampen the enthusiasm one bit.
Fox Run proved to be a great new home for the event. The show field filled quickly with Mustangs and Ford‑powered vehicles from every generation — classics, Fox Bodies, SN95s, S197s, S550s, and the newest S650s. The visibility of the new location brought in a steady stream of spectators throughout the day.
Judging across all classes was extremely tight, with many cars separated by only a few points. On top of that, People’s Choice voting was outstanding, with a huge number of ballots cast and plenty of friendly debate among spectators about their favorites. The level of engagement showed just how much the crowd enjoyed the variety and quality of vehicles on display.
The heart of the show was the people. Members reconnected after the winter break, new faces joined in, and volunteers kept everything running smoothly from parking and registration to ballots and awards along with our charity auction and 50/50. This year’s charity auction benefits Seans House. The teamwork and camaraderie were felt from start to finish.
Our first Spring Show at Fox Run Shopping Center was a clear success and set a strong tone for the season ahead. We truly appreciate all of our show participants, every volunteer who helped make this event possible, and our dedicated club sponsors whose continued support strengthens our events and our community. Their commitment helps us grow, improve, and keep the Mustang spirit alive in Delaware.
The season is just getting started, see you at the next cruise or show.
