On Sunday, November 3, 2024, a group of First State Ford and Mustang members met up at Manhattan Bagel in Middletown for a quick breakfast before heading out to enjoy one of the last car shows of the season. They caravanned to the MASSEY AERODROME & MASSEY AIR MUSEUM in Massey, Maryland for a car show hosted by The Galena Lion’s Club and met up with other club members.

With such a big field to park the cars, the volunteers were able to accommodate our club members and hold a row open for us so we could all hang out together. With the hot summer past us and the lack of rain, the field was dry and brittle, but the weather for the day could not have been any better. With the nice weather, they had 250 registered cars in attendance to enjoy the music, food vendors and a chance at 50/50 and charity auctions. All proceeds from this show go to the Lion’s Club and the Air Museum.

Along with admiring the beautiful cars of all makes, models and years, we were able to do a self-guided tour of the Air Museum, and hangers. There were also 2 planes which you could go in and take a look around. They were interesting to see, however, if you are claustrophobic you may want to skip it.
